Monday - Hanging out in Cusco
Monday was our last day in Cusco before we head off on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu for four days. So we basically just hung out in Cusco, buying a few snacks for the trip (we also tried to find a decent supermarket, but walked for ages into the local part of town and still couldn´t find one) and went to a few museums and churches etc.
At 6pm we had to go to a briefing for our trek, where we met the rest of our group and were told we were being picked up at 5am! And by the time we had dinner, got back to our hostel, and sorted out all the stuff we needed to take we didn´t get to bed until 11:30pm - so needless to say we were a little tired when the alarm went off at 4:30am.
